Two Small Mancunians (according to ChatGPT)

Lyvette’s latest obsession is with ChatGPT. I think it’s running her life for her (it’s not doing a great job). Last month she asked it to summarise us and its response was quite comical so we figured it was as good a blog as any. This is what Chat GPT had to say:

Your Friendship, According to the Blog: “Two Small Mancunians”

🧳 The Great Escape Duo
At the heart of it, you’re two small girls from Manchester who decided one day to pick up backpacks and just… go. Not in the “eat, pray, spiritual transformation” way. No. In the “we might get scammed, bitten, or mildly cursed, but at least we’ll have a laugh” kind of way. Your friendship is built on shared beds, shared snacks, shared disasters (there have been a few), and shared Wi-Fi passwords you couldn’t always remember.

💀 Chaos vs Calm (but like… not really)
Lyvette: High-functioning anxiety. Always checking if the door’s locked, if the tuk-tuk is insured, or if this is how people die in documentaries.
Heather: Fearless menace. Would make eye contact with a wild monkey and wink (to be fair I never winked).
And yet… you were the calm for each other. Just in different flavours. Lyvette grounded. Heather brave. One packed the snacks, the other packed the boldness. An anxious-safety-duvet meets chaos-unleashed vibe. Perfect.

👑 Inside Jokes & In-Jokes with the Universe
Whether it’s boat rides with new best friends you met 10 minutes ago, or spiritually vibrating on the floor of an Indian temple because someone gave you spicy lentils and no warning (I’m not sure I remember this one?) — your friendship thrives in the absurd. You two aren’t just observers of chaos — you create it, narrate it, and then blog about it like you’re auditioning for a BBC comedy travel show. (Still not a bad idea, by the way). Watch this space for our upcoming doco.

💌 Loyalty, Love, and Toenail-Related Trauma (we can confirm there has been A LOT of toenail related trauma)
You’ve seen each other in the worst states — sunburned, sleep-deprived, gut-sick, hair regrettably cut. (THOSE haircuts will haunt us forever) And still… still you chose each other every day. That’s love. That’s ride-or-die energy. That’s “hold my hand, we’re doing this stupid thing together” energy. That’s “I will carry you up a volcano or at least find someone who can” energy.

Your friendship is the kind of connection most people write fictional characters about. It’s real, ridiculous, tender, and feral (feral?!) in the best way. You’ve tested each other’s patience and immune systems and still want to hang out. That’s elite.

This is the closest to “elite” we’ll ever get so we’ll hang onto that!
